Import Duty on Set Top Box Increase By 5%.
Today Govt have Increased the Import Duty On Set Top Boxes by 5%.
Earlier it was 5% so an increase of 5 % now its 10% on the STB cost. Example: Suppose STB cost is 2000 Rs Earlier Duty was 100 Rs, now its Raised to 200 Rs. Thanks |

Not a good news for those importing boxes. Now the option is to buy locally manufactured set-top boxes.
